Maryland Chapters Earn SkillsUSA National Models of Excellence Honors!
Congratulations to the Center of Applied Technology North’s (CATN) Baking and Pastry Arts program and Dorchester Career and Technology Center, members of an elite group of 24 SkillsUSA chapters from across the country named as “Models of Excellence” for 2023. CATN’s Baking and Pastry Arts program received this national recognition again in 2024. Models of Excellence — part of SkillsUSA’s Chapter Excellence Program — recognizes the exceptional integration and application of Personal, Workplace and Technical Skills in student-led SkillsUSA chapter activities.
